NCFC and Courage TST team groups and schedules revealed

CARY, NC, – The Soccer Tournament, the $1 million, winner-take-all, 7v7 world championship, today announced the group seedings and schedules for NC Courage and North Carolina FC as part of the official women’s and men’s field reveals for the event at WakeMed Soccer Park June 5-10.

TST’s eight-team women’s field is split into two groups of four teams. The Courage headline Group B, which also includes Burnley FC, SoccerHead FC and Tampa Bay Sun FC.

The Courage opens the group stage against Burnley on Friday, June 7 at 9:30 a.m. ET. Later that day, their second group match starts at 8:15 PM ET against Tampa Bay Sun FC. Their final group stage match is against SoccerHead FC on Saturday, June 8 at 7:00 PM ET. All NC Courage group stage matches can be streamed on thetournament.com.

The top two teams from each women’s group will advance to Sunday afternoon’s semifinals, with the winners advancing to the first $1 Million Women’s Championship match on Monday, June 10 at 7:00 PM ET, airing on ESPNU.

The men’s field is divided into 12 groups of four teams. NCFC headline Group J, which also features Villarreal, Como 1907 and City Soccer Society.

NCFC opens the group stage against Villarreal on Wednesday, June 5 at 11:30 a.m. ET. Their second group stage match will take place that evening against City Soccer Society, kicking off at 8:00 PM ET. Their final group stage match, against Como 1907, is scheduled for Thursday, June 6 at 1:00 PM ET. All three of NCFC’s group stage matches will be available for streaming on thetournament.com.

The top two teams from each group and the eight third-place teams with the highest points total (32 teams in total) will advance to the knockout stage, starting on June 7. The round of 16 and quarter-final matches will both be played on Saturday. , June 8. The semifinals will take place on the evening of Sunday, June 9, with the $1 Million Championship Game at 8:30 PM EST on Monday, June 10 on ESPNU.
