Man robbed of $300 and a pizza in Mount Eden by thieves on mopeds – NBC New York

A man in the Bronx was robbed by three men who approached him on scooters, then brandished a knife before making off with $300 of his — and his pizza, police said.

The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. on April 11 in the Mount Eden neighborhood. The 23-year-old victim was walking near West Mount Eden Avenue and Inwood Avenue when the trio rode up to him on two mopeds, police said.

After getting out of their ride, one of the suspects grabbed a knife while the other two took the victim’s money and pizza, police said. The three then fled the scene, with one of the mopeds traveling north and the other south.

The victim was not injured. No arrests have been made yet, the police are still looking for the suspects.
